2016 Chevrolet Cheyenne Review Specs

This year could prove to be one of the most interesting in the last few years when it comes to new pickup vehicles. While every major manufacturer is preparing to unveil refreshed models for 2016, one model that is all-new and that should hit the market very soon is gaining lots of attention – the 2016 Chevrolet Cheyenne. The American manufacturer claims that this vehicle is completely new, even though it is heavily based on the current Silverado 1500.

2016 Chevrolet Cheyenne Exterior

In terms of design, the 2016 Chevrolet Cheyenne looks a lot like the Silverado 1500 currently on sale, but thanks to some small design updates and accents, Cheyenne looks like an upscale version of its brother. Reports that have been published online suggest that the American manufacturer plans to make the Cheyenne a lot lighter than Silverado in order to enable it to have better performance and better fuel economy at the same time.

At this moment, there is no information about how Chevrolet actually plans to keep the weight down, but the most probable solution will be extensive use of lightweight materials like aluminum. The front of the car will be similar in shape and size to the one on Silverado 1500, but it will have a grille that is completely covered in chrome with chrome front bumper and chrome accents around headlights. The reports suggest that the 2016 Chevrolet Cheyenne will come with enormous 20-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels. The Cheyenne will have blue accents on the outside – like the name, blue lines across the exterior and blue detailing on the alloy wheels.

Interior

The American manufacturer has decided to create a unique interior for the 2016 Chevrolet Cheyenne, which should help it stand out in the pickup market. The interior was designed with luxury and functionality in mind, which means that the Cheyenne is aimed at a certain customer, rather than the whole market.
