Although rumors about the new model have already appeared, we would like to remind you of the 2016 Fiat Toro once again. Differences between these two models are not huge and basically, these two are twin brothers. To tell you the truth, Toro hasn’t been changed for a while and we hope it’ll get a huge redesign in the following years.
Toro is a Spanish word for bull and this car’s primary target are countries in Latin America. It takes after Jeep Renegade and the biggest competitors are Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux. Changes are quite subtle. Size has remained the same and whole outer design, for that matter.

Two engines are available for the 2016 Fiat Toro. On one hand, there is the 1.6-liter E-Torque four-cylinder. This is going to be the base engine and is coming with six-speed automatic gearbox and either two-wheel or all-wheel drive. It is less powerful that the competent pickup trucks since it can produce only 138 horsepower.
The second choice is the 2.0-liter Multijet Turbo diesel unit. This engine comes with an output of 170 horsepower and six-speed automatic transmission system. Power is transferred to either two or four wheels. Both of these engines have quite decent fuel economy. The Fiat Toro 2016 is rated at 21 mpg and 26 mpg in a city and on highway respectively.
Safety systems have remained the same. Whole standard equipment is there: rearview camera, automatic window locks, emergency brakes etc. Fiat always puts safety systems under the spotlight and they work impeccably.

The cabin looks luxurious with seats wrapped in leather. There are some people who would like to see cloth instead of leather, but leather is currently the only available option. It is also equipped with the latest technology and some things have been improved.
Large HD screen is placed on the dashboard. It enables a driver to control the temperature inside the car, navigation system, satellite radio, etc. The software has been updated but there are no revolutionary changes. It is quite easy to use the software and you’ll immediately get used to using it.

The 2016 Fiat Toro has already been launched thus you will probably find it easily. In our opinion, this truck delivers the goods despite all its flaws and it won’t let you down on the road. Pricing hasn’t been changed which means that new Toro costs as much as the older model.
