2017 Mazda CX-5 Exterior
Since the vehicle has been revamped just recently, the 2017 model year won’t bring any major changes. There will be some new features that will set it apart as a new model, but it will remain mostly unchanged. It is the first model in Mazda’s lineup to embody the newborn KODO design language. It will adopt muscular and elegant curves that will give it more attractive stance.

It looks rather sporty with its dual exhaust and the rear roof spoiler which arrive as standard on all trim levels. The least expensive trim level will ride on 17-inch wheels while the most luxurious of the trims rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. Among the changes is a grille, which has been slightly refreshed. The carmaker has added LED headlights as well. If you want to notice the changes on the rear end of the car, you will have to look carefully.
Mazda CX-5 2017 Interior
The cabin of the Mazda CX-5 is spacious and comfortable. All five passengers will enjoy driving in such clean, well-organized, and meticulously designed cabin. If you opt for the base trim level, you will get seats dressed up in cloth but if you prefer leather, opt for the most expensive trim. Speaking of which, the Mazda CX-5 is available in three trim levels including Sport, Touring, and the greatest Grand Touring.

Each trim level adds its own features. Therefore, if you opt for the base one, you get keyless entry, manual gearbox, a 4-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth connectivity. The most expensive trim includes 9-speaker audio system, heated front seats, leather upholstery, and more.
Mazda CX-5 Engine
The things under the bonnet of the CX-5 haven’t been changed. Namely, the 2.0-liter inline-4 and 2.5-liter inline-4 are carried from the previous generation with the same power output. The base engine has the capacity to deliver 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful engine churns 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque.
